In front of you is the calm beauty of Lake Erie, and you’re experiencing one of the greatest joys of a Christian summer camp in Ohio. Camp isn’t home, but sometimes it feels like the closest thing to our heavenly dwelling on earth.
For many campers, faith-filled memories are made around campfires, waterfront adventures, and late-night conversations that strengthen lifelong friendships. At Beulah Beach, a Christian camp and retreat center on Lake Erie, those moments become much more than summer memories; they become moments that shape your faith and point you toward Christ.
Beulah Beach has been a lighthouse through many storms in my life. My name is Abigail Moore, and I have moved seven times and lived in several different states. The only thing constant in my life was change, but one small camp in Vermilion, Ohio, remained the same: Beulah Beach.
This Christian summer camp on Lake Erie became more than just a place I visited each summer. It became a place where friendships were formed, faith was strengthened, and God’s presence was evident in everyday moments. The beauty of Lake Erie filled me with wonder, and the Christ-centered community showed me what it means to belong.
Home is familiarity, consistency, and a place that anchors your life physically and emotionally. For me, Beulah Beach became home because God is glorified through every moment. Through worship, camp traditions, and the incredible community found at this faith-based summer camp, I discovered a place that continually points people to Jesus and creates memories that last a lifetime.
