"A Call To Prayer For The Children"

WHY A CALL TO PRAYER FOR
CHILDREN?
1. God wants you to talk to
Him! Come and discover that kids can talk to God about anything
and everything!
2. We must Pray! The Prophet
Samuel said if he didn't pray he would be sinning against the
Lord. That is a good reminder to us that we should pray too (
Samuel 12:23)
3. God is waiting for us to
Pray! As powerful as God is, He has chosen to use our prayers
and that means kids prayers too! He is waiting for our prayers!
4. We need to Pray! In our
world today there are a lot of people who are lost with out
Jesus and who are poor, suffering and in need of God's help. We
need to Pray!
So if you are a kid who wants to
have a closer relationship with Jesus through prayer, who wants
to learn the secret to a powerful and effective prayer life, and
who wants to have a vital role in God's plan for these times,
then God is calling you to pray! Come to this "Call to Prayer
for Children" at Beulah Beach to be encouraged in prayer and
then leave as World Changer through Prayer!

Jane Mackie is National Coordinator of the Children’s Prayer Network in Australia. Jane entered children’s ministry in 1988 when she was attending St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Wahroonga, Sydney where she coordinated the children’s ministry for many years. In May 1995 Jane was invited to lead a team working with children from different nations who were invited to attend the Global Consultation on World Evangelization in Seoul, Korea, as praying delegates. Subsequently Jane was invited by the Australian AD2000 Movement to set up and coordinate a Children’s Prayer Network in Australia. Jane has travelled to more than 20 nations since 1995, usually accompanied by a team of children and young people, to share the vision the Lord has given her. The vision of the Children’s Prayer Network is to mobilise and network praying Christian children; to support and encourage the nurturing, discipling, training and equipping of these children, to enable them to take their place in God’s family as part of the army He is raising up to reach this generation. |
